isocannabis: The Artist Who Turned Knee Surgery Into a Music Career and Has Not Slowed Down Since

In 2021 isocannabis was making music casually with friends on Bandlab. Nothing serious. Just having fun with sound. Then in 2023 a knee surgery forced him to slow down physically and what happened next was the opposite of slow. He started making music constantly, fell in love with it completely and never looked back.

That is the origin story of an artist who went from casual sessions to building an entire creative universe in a relatively short amount of time. He went by Marr9s from 2022 to 2023 before fully stepping into the isocannabis identity in late 2024 and everything since that rebrand has been moving with real purpose and real momentum.

iso.world and the universe being built around it

His album "iso.world" is out now in its good ending form and it is the centerpiece of everything he is building. But unlike most artists who drop a project and move on, isocannabis is treating iso.world as a living breathing world with multiple chapters still to come.

On Halloween he is dropping the bad ending deluxe to iso.world. A Halloween trap classic is exactly how he describes it and the concept of a good ending versus a bad ending for the same album world is one of the more creative release strategies in independent music right now. Two versions. Two outcomes. One universe.

Then on Christmas Day the prequel tape drops, filling in the story that came before iso.world and giving listeners an even deeper look into the world he has been building since late 2024.

Three releases. Three major moments. All before the year ends.

What keeps him going

isocannabis stays motivated by keeping things fun. New sounds. New flows. New adlibs. New ideas brought to life without overthinking any of it. That playful creative approach is what keeps the music feeling fresh and unpredictable rather than formulaic.

But beyond the personal enjoyment there is something else that keeps the fire lit. His fans. He says they see more potential in him than he sometimes sees in himself and that kind of external belief in an artist who is still developing is one of the most powerful motivators there is. When the people listening to you believe in you harder than you believe in yourself on a bad day, you keep going.

"My fans see more potential in me than myself sometimes and that really keeps the fire lit."

The collaborations building the world

isocannabis is not building iso.world alone. He has been working with a growing circle of artists who are helping expand the sound and the reach of what he is creating.

A song with Osamason is out now on his SoundCloud. Songs with Relmigo and Ohsxnta are coming soon. He has also worked with Carbon, Zipbby and Jonoftf along the way. Each collaboration adds another texture to a sound that is already intentionally wide and experimental.

Three drops before the year ends

iso.world good ending is out now. The bad ending deluxe drops Halloween. The prequel tape drops Christmas Day. That release schedule tells you everything about where isocannabis is mentally right now. Locked in, creative and building something bigger than a single project one carefully timed drop at a time.

The world is being built. Get in early.
